The Texas Comptroller’s office is sent out letters beginning Wednesday, April 13, to notify a large number of Texans whose personal information was inadvertently disclosed on an agency server that was accessible to the public. The records of about three and a half million people were erroneously placed on the server with

With today’s 2010 tax return deadline and resulting refunds arriving in the next few days, BBB understands consumers will take the opportunity to use this extra money to buy a used vehicle. However, BBB warns that used car dealers were one of the most complained about industries last year with over 400 complaints. While the majority of complaints were resolved, many disputes could have been prevented by consumers taking the time to ask detailed questions and research dealerships in advance.
